Session 2

I have a feeling all of my entries about my sessions with Will are going to start off with “What an AMAZING session!”

As mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been struggling to keep my energy levels up whilst on an anti-candida diet. I’ve introduced carbs like quinoa and buckwheat back into my diet so my energy levels are far better than what they were a week ago, but they’re not as good as they were on a normal day.

We started the session with some great stretching and moving with what the body needs. It woke up my body and got me fired right up. We went on to a number of movements including running around the studio with free arms, lunges (whilst touching the floor every time I lunged – killer!), push ups, squats and some back work. I’ve always felt a strange but painful weight on my shoulders any time I engage in a cardio workout which Will helped me eliminate. Technique is so important and should never be over looked – I learned that the hard way!

This was the first time I’d really worked out hard in 3ish weeks and I was puffing and panting all over the place but boy did I LOVE it! My muscles were sore and I had missed this feeling SO much, I couldn’t have been happier to feel that burn in my muscles again. It felt like every muscle in my body was buzzing!

Of course I woke up real sore the next day, but who doesn’t love that pain? Every time I walked or sat down, the pain put a smile on my face and reminded me that I’m another step closer to my goal physique
